Each session will begin with a twenty-minute presentation followed by time for a Q&A session with our admissions officers.
What are you looking for?
Location? Academic discipline? Food? Weather? Size? In this special information session for family members of high school juniors, a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ admissions officer will lay out the factors you and your student should consider to start building your college list. We'll lay out some first steps for your family to consider in your search and how to start exploring colleges that fit your criteria.
What are we looking for?
What does holistic review mean? Is test-optional really optional? What matters in a college application? Join a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ admissions officer to learn more about the application review process and how we learn more about your student throughout their application. We'll cover how each piece of a college application helps us learn more about your student.
How do I learn more?
Now that you have a sense of what you're looking for and what we're looking for, we'll cover how your student can start to build knowledge beyond their college list. If a college checks all your student's boxes, what are the next steps? As your student wraps up their junior year, we'll discuss next steps to pursue over the summer to determine if a college is truly a good fit. We'll cover scheduling virtual and visit options, best questions to ask, and what to look for.
