BCBAA Elects New Vice President and Secretary
By ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ NewsThe ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ College Black Alumni Association’s (BCBAA) Coordinating Council held special elections in July to fill the positions of vice president and secretary.
The council elected Praise Hall ’20 vice president. A founding member of BCBAA and active member for many years, Hall previously served as secretary. She is a program manager for Oak Spring Garden Foundation in Upperville, Virginia.
The council also elected Oscar Harrell ’83 secretary. A vice president of DEI and employee engagement at Ingram Industries in Paducah, Kentucky, Harrell was elected to the Coordinating Council in January and says he’s eager to continue his involvement.
“We’re excited to welcome Praise and Oscar to these new roles,” said Joycelyn Blizzard, director of multicultural engagement. “I know they’re excited to serve the BCBAA and look forward to working with the other council members to continue the association's mission of supporting the College and its Black alumni.”
