ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾

Overview
The Alumni Fund Directors play a significant role in shaping the priorities of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾’s alumni annual giving program. In collaboration with Annual Giving staff, this group helps guide overall strategic planning and direction of fundraising for annual operating support. The Fund Directors serve as liaisons between the College and our corps of alumni volunteers, and are highly engaged in maintaining and elevating ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾’s annual giving program excellence.

Commitment 

• Support the unrestricted Alumni Fund with a gift annually by June 30 
  
• Attend two on-campus Volunteer Conferences annually (fall and spring)
• Participate in a minimum of two quarterly conference calls during the Fund year
• Serve on one of three subcommittees of the Fund Directors and assist with strategic objectives
• Represent nearly 900 alumni volunteers by providing education and mentorship for assigned Class Agents
• Shape the volunteer experience
• Be an advocate for and contribute to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾One Day through planning and execution
• Assist in the solicitation/stewardship of targeted alumni groups including first-time donors, long-lapsed renewed, reunion committee volunteers, and 1794 Society members
• When appropriate, accompany ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ staff on visits with alumni for volunteer recruitment, stewardship, or gift solicitation purposes
• Attend regional alumni events when possible
• Attend the annual 1794 Society reception and welcome guests, if possible
• Consider hosting or co-hosting a Fund Director Dinner or Reception with alumni volunteers in your area
• Assist with various Alumni Fund outreach efforts when requested, such as solicitation calls to volunteers, hand-written thank you notes, volunteer recruitment, and promoting the Fund on social media accounts

Term and Succession:
Fund Directors serve a four-year term. The Director of Annual Giving, in collaboration with the Fund Director Chair and Vice Chair, will recruit new members to the group; candidate recommendations from the Fund Directors are encouraged.

Overview
Lead Class Agents play an important role in the overall annual success of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾’s Alumni Fund. The Lead Class Agent(s) serve as class leaders and partner with Annual Giving staff to help set and meet annual class goals and objectives. There are four main responsibilities: set (and achieve!) annual class dollar and participation goals; work with the staff to personalize class-wide communications; engage, solicit, and steward assigned classmates; help manage Associate Class Agents for your class.

Commitment
Each Lead Class Agent commits to the following:

• Support the unrestricted Alumni Fund with a gift annually by June 30 
• Support your staff class liaison in setting annual dollar and participation goals
• Assist with personalizing and/or writing class-wide communications
• Personally engage, educate, solicit, and steward a group of assigned classmates to support the unrestricted Alumni Fund annually (you will select which classmates you reach out to) primarily between November – December and April – June
• Share feedback with your staff class liaison; report on what you’re hearing from your classmates
• Check in with Associate Class Agents to see if they have questions, need advice, or have feedback to share; share best practices and education
• Recruit classmates, as needed, to serve as Associate Class Agents or Reunion Committee members to ensure broad reach and class coverage
• Utilize Volunteer by EverTrue to log Activities to keep the Annual Giving staff updated on your progress, and to keep track of your Class Pool Report activity

Overview
Associate Class Agents play an important role in the overall annual success of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾’s Alumni Fund. The Associate Class Agent(s) focus on connecting classmates with the College throughout the year and solicit support for the unrestricted Alumni Fund.

Commitment
Each Associate Class Agent commits to the following:

• Support the unrestricted Alumni Fund with a gift annually by June 30
• Personally engage, educate, solicit, and steward a group of assigned classmates to support the unrestricted Alumni Fund annually (you will select which classmates you reach out to)
• Share feedback with your staff class liaison; report on what you’re hearing from your classmates
• Utilize Volunteer by EverTrue to log Activities to keep the Annual Giving staff updated on your progress

Overview 
The role of Reunion Committee members is to help plan class-specific events for Reunion Weekend, solicit classmates for reunion gifts, and encourage attendance. Reunion Committee members are comprised of existing Lead Class Agents and Associate Class Agents, as well as classmates who volunteer to participate in this special occasion to celebrate the class. 

Commitment 
Each Reunion Committee member commits to the following:

• Support the unrestricted Alumni Fund with a gift by June 30 
  
• Participate in Reunion Committee conference calls and assist with planning efforts
• Help shape Reunion Weekend with class-specific programming (ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ staff does the heavy lifting!) 
• Reach out to classmates to invite them to attend reunion and ask them to join you in making their reunion gift to the unrestricted Alumni Fund 
• Maintain ongoing communication with Annual Giving and Alumni Relations staff 
• Utilize Volunteer by EverTrue to log fundraising Activities to keep the Annual Giving staff updated on your progress

Term:
Reunion Committee members serve a one-year term and are invited to stay on to serve as class volunteers. 

Overview
The 1794 Membership Committee supports the growth, retention, and stewardship of the 1794 Society by conducting outreach efforts to assignments annually. Committee members serve as 1794 Society ambassadors, helping to educate, solicit, and steward alumni. 

Commitment 
Each Committee member commits to the following:

• Support the Alumni Fund with a 1794 Society level gift by June 30
• Conduct outreach and stewardship efforts to an assigned group of non-1794 Society members (5-10). Assignments are based on location and/or affinities. 
• Assist with outreach to lapsed 1794 Society members.
• Serve as an ambassador for the College and the Society at various events. 
• Attend two virtual committee meetings per year to discuss ideas and progress. 

Term:
1794 Membership Committee members serve a two-year term.
