Navigating Investment Banking

Learning what it takes to be successful and forward-thinking in corporate finance
Will poses in front of the JEGI CLARITY sign.

This summer I worked as a summer analyst at JEGI CLARITY, a preeminent investment bank whose clients operate in the tech, media, and telecommunication verticals. The 10-week internship in New York City helped me learn about and apply corporate finance skills.

JEGI offers various financial services such as buy and sell-side M&A, recaps, and divestitures. During my time as a summer analyst I focused on prospective and live deal work. I created management presentations, conducted financial due diligence, and helped with internal business development and other operations. The highlight of my time here was meeting clients which included private equity partners and a CEO of a major firm.

I learned a lot about my own skills and what I need to work on to be successful upon my graduation from ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾. I added PowerPoint, Excel, and professional relationship skills to my tool belt as well. I am happy to be continuing with investment banking next summer, and this experience only solidified that idea.
