Margaret Boyle (Romance Languages and Literatures) and her collaborator at Bates College were awarded a Summer Seminar & Institute grant from the National Endowment for the Humanities for their project titled Identity and Multilingualism through Picture Books.

Christopher Chong (Mathematics) was awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation for his project titled RUI: Dispersive shock waves in nonlinear lattices: theory, simulation and application.

Danielle Dube (Chemistry) was awarded a renewal grant from the National Institutes of Health for her project titled R15: Deciphering Helicobacter pylori's glycocode: uncovering and harnessing drug targets.

Katherine DuBois (Biology) was awarded a grant from The Nature Conservancy for her Eelgrass Genomics Research project.

Eric Gaze (Quantitative Reasoning/Mathematics) and Jack O'Brien (Mathematics) were awarded a mini grant via Carleton College's award from the National Science Foundation titled Online modules for quantitative skill building: Exploring, adaptation and adoption.

William Jackman (Biology) and his collaborators at the University of Mississippi Medical Center were awarded a grant from the National Institutes of Health for their project titled RO1: Mechanisms responsible for tooth morphogenesis in vertebrates.

Patty Jones (Biology) was awarded a grant from Canada's Department of the Environment ("Environment and Climate Change Canada") for her project titled, Climate change effects and implications for recovery planning of the Leach's Storm-petrel.

Jens Klenner (German) was awarded a grant from the German Embassy for Campus Weeks 2021 programming titled Time to Act.

Alex Marzano-Lesnevich (English) was awarded a Transatlantic Media Fellowship from the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung Foundation in support of their writing project about transgender issues and the self-id movement in Germany.

Stephen Naculich (Physics) was awarded a renewal grant from the National Science Foundation for his project titled RUI: Amplitudes in Gauge Theory and Gravity.

Kristi Olsen (Philosophy) was awarded a 2022-23 Fellowship from the National Humanities Center.

Mike Palopoli (Biology) was awarded a grant from the National Institutes of Health INBRE program for his project titled RTF: Evolution of enhancer function within and between species of Drosophila.

Eric Ramos (Mathematics) was awarded a grant from the National Science Foundation for his project titled LEAPS-MPS: The representation theory of combinatorial categories.

Jay Sosa (Gender, Sexuality, and Women's Studies) was awarded a Chicago Visiting Scholars Program grant from The Leather Archives & Museum for his project titled What We Can't (But Should) Say About Poppers.

Kana Takematsu (Chemistry/Biochemistry) was awarded a CAREER grant from the National Science Foundation for her project titled Bridging Photoacids and Photobases with Schiff base Platforms.
