Patrick Dempsey, whose character, Dr. Derek “McDreamy” Shepherd on ABC’s Grey’s Anatomy was a proud grad fond of wearing a ϳԹվ T-shirt to bed and ϳԹվ hoodie to the hospital softball game, has been named People’s 2023 “Sexiest Man Alive.”
“I’m glad it’s happening at this point in my life,” Dempsey says in the cover story. “It’s nice to have the recognition, and certainly my ego takes a little bump, but it gives me the platform to use it for something positive.” .
