Led by a national nonprofit with a more than twenty years of experience in helping high-achieving students from underrepresented communities access top colleges and launch careers that drive economic mobility, the collaborative includes ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ as well as

Amherst College, Brown University, University of Chicago, Cornell University, Georgia Institute of Technology, Harvey Mudd College, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Northwestern University, University of Pennsylvania, Washington University in St. Louis, and Williams College.

“ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ has worked with Thrive through its many years of service to students, first in Los Angeles, then in Boston, and now nationally,” said Claudia Marroquin, dean of admissions and student aid.

“Formalizing the collaboration is a natural next step, and we are excited to continue to work with an organization that thoughtfully works to empower first-generation and low-income students.”

Last year, Thrive Scholars served more than 1,448 students. These were first-generation prospective college students from families with annual incomes averaging $45,000 and with grade point averages around 3.91.

Through this collaborative effort, Thrive Scholars and its college partners look to empower students to realize their full potential and contribute to dynamic campus communities.

“Our college partners are essential allies in creating environments where students from underrepresented communities can thrive,” said Raynise Smith, chief program officer with Thrive Scholars.

“These institutions are not just supporters; they are champions of student potential, working with us to bridge opportunity gaps and unlock pathways to success.”

Members of the Thrive Scholars College Collaborative are attuned to the challenges faced by the students in the program and are dedicated to providing the resources, access, and support necessary for success in rigorous academic environments and a sense of belonging on their campuses.
