Chelsea Doyle
Chelsea is responsible for managing the social media platforms for the main college accounts, including the Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and YouTube accounts. She oversees and recommends ideas to other accounts across the college. She occasionally edits videos to put on YouTube and Vimeo for the College as well as adding captions for accessibility best practices. She guides content strategy, shares analytics about each platform, and updates people accordingly on changes to the industry and best practices. She partners with other departments and assists with boosting their voices and also helps with annual giving paid ads. She frequently attends events and can be seen walking around taking video and photographs for the social channels to represent the feel of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾.
Chelsea worked at the Portland Press Herald before coming to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ and created their social media presence, guiding their digital presence and teaching her colleagues how to use social media platforms both professionally and personally. She occasionally wrote a technology column for the digital edition. She was the on-air entertainment expert for radio station WGAN for several years. Before that Chelsea worked in New York City as an entertainment and technology journalist. She has a B.A. from Bard College and an M.A. from Roehampton University.
A born and raised Mainer, Chelsea lives in Brunswick and she is passionate about animal shelters and animal welfare. She likes to read, do podcasts, criticize pop culture, and can be found scrolling through her social media as she's passionate about the industry.
