Dawn Gerding
Dawn advises students interested in careers in business (including finance, consulting, and beyond) and can illustrate the wide variety of career options available in these exciting fields. Dawn is available to help with identifying good-fit employers for internships and full-time employment, interview preparation, and resume and cover letter review. Dawn also advises students who are hoping to attend MBA programs in the future.
After graduating from the Harvard Business School, Dawn worked successfully as a management consultant for over 10 years. She was employed at top strategy firms including McKinsey & Company and The Cambridge Group, as well as the healthcare strategy consulting division of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association. Dawn specialized in consulting Fortune 500 clients on strategies to accelerate profitable growth through a deeper understanding of consumer demand. She managed projects worth up to $1 million, including problem-solving, client interactions, team dynamics, and end-product deliverables. Most recently, Dawn worked in Consumer and Decision Sciences at Ahold Delhaize USA, providing strategic and analytic advising support to Hannaford.
