Jonathan Macat
As Assistant Director of THRIVE Jonathan works closely with BSE program students, overseeing the development of the THRIVE Alumni Network, and guiding Chamberlain Scholars as they embark on research, independent study, career-focused internships, community engagement, and other external learning opportunities. Additionally, he contributes to the GCS summer institute.
Jonathan has diverse work experience, having held positions as an Upward Bound Academic Advisor, math teacher, high ropes Instructor, and line cook. He is a proud ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Alum (Class of 2016) and is working on a master's degree with a target completion date of 2025. He enjoys birding, playing board games, discovering new music, participating in fantasy football planning, hanging out in large groups, and cooking and eating food from all over the world.
