Dinner With Six Strangers

A historic Residential Life tradition and shining example of College House programming, Dinner With Six Strangers has brought members of the ��ϳԹ��վ community together for the last 20 years. All members of the College join for evenings of connection and community building among new acquaintances. Strangers turn into mentors, advisors, academic partners, and friends through just one meal.

How to Join

All members of the ��ϳԹ��վ community are welcome to join, from new staff to tenured professors and experienced seniors to a new class of first years. The meal is always free for faculty and staff members. RSVP at the links below and request a spot in the next event, guests will be notified of their spot at the event or on the waitlist in advance of the date. Waitlist members may be pulled up if a guest cannot attend or given priority for the following Dinner with Six.

What is Dinner with Six Strangers?

At its core, Dinner with Six is an opportunity to meet new people. Guests are randomly sorted into tables with six other members of campus. They are asked a number of questions including their department or major, class year, and residence hall to ensure tables are full of potential strangers. Sample questions are provided to further conversation, ranging from simple to thought-provoking. The result is new connections and relationships, both personal and professional, for all attendees.
