“As a freshman at ϳԹվ, I began my studies in Latin and Greek. Barbara Weiden Boyd was my adviser, and she captured my imagination. She was scholarly, funny and encouraging. She was the kind of teacher I wanted to be, and she pushed me to achieve excellence. ϳԹվ’s faculty members are treasures, and I want this endowment to encourage students to thrive in scholarship and to establish rich relationships with faculty.” —Mary Jo Gorman Keaney ‘86
