Off-Campus Opportunities
Our students often take advantage of the the many opportunities for exploration, study, and research at earth and oceanographic labs around the world.
While some of these posts come with fellowships or stipends, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾'s Student Fellowships and Research office also has funding to support students who are interested in an internship or research position that is unpaid.

- The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) offers the , a two-year program that includes a summer research opportunity at participating NOAA lab, as well as academic scholarship support for two years. Students must apply their sophomore year.
- NASA (National Aeronautics and Space Administration) offers a through Caltech (California Institute of Technology) and the Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California.
