Chapel

ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾'s Chapel was built in 1855 and it was restored and remodeled in 1998 and again in 2005. The chapel is open 24/7 and it serves as a quiet space for students, faculty, and staff to reflect, meditate, or pray. The chapel can be reserved by contacting Campus Scheduling and it is available for all student groups and performances. 

Due to it's great acoustics, the Chapel is often used by musical ensembles and performances. It is also used throughout the year to hold Mass, memorial services, Bible Studies, Worship Celebrations, etc. 

Reflection Room

The Reflection Room is located in Ladd 303 in the Rachel Lord Center for Religious and Spiritual Life. It is a semi-private interfaith space for students to use for quiet reflection, prayer, and meditation. It can also be used for small team meetings. The room is available 24/7 to accommodate students' needs. 

There is no reservation needed to use the Reflection Room; however, if you would like to reserve it for a specific activity, please inquire with Oliver Goodrich.

Contemplation & Meditation Room

The Contemplation and Meditation Room is located in Banister Hall (Chapel), Room 206. It is a semi-private interfaith space for students to use for quiet reflection, prayer, and meditation. It can also be used for small team meetings. The room is available 24/7 to accommodate students' needs. 

There is no reservation needed to use the Contemplation & Meditation Room; however, if you would like to reserve it for a specific activity, please inquire with Oliver Goodrich.

Kosher & Halal Kitchen

The Rachel Lord Center for Religious and Spiritual Life in Ladd House has a Kosher & Halal kitchen available for use by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ community members.

The kitchen is kept locked to ensure that proper religious and dietary restrictions are carefully followed. It has separate cabinets, dishes, sinks, and a refrigerator to keep foods and dishes properly stored.

If you want to access the kitchen, you will first need to take an online training module, which will teach you the basic working principles of both the kosher and halal diets. To get access to the training module, please email Oliver Goodrich.

The Peter Buck Center for Health & Fitness houses a dedicated Meditation Room and Yoga Studio on the third floor. Our colleagues in ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Wellness often schedule group fitness programs and meditation classes in these rooms that are open to all students. Additionally, when the rooms are not being used for classes, they are available for individuals or small groups to use for spiritual and contemplative practice.
