Middle Eastern Ensemble

The Middle Eastern Ensemble, formed in 2006, performs music from the Arab world, Turkey, Armenia, and the Middle East more generally.(Music 2705/2706)

The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Middle Eastern Ensemble (BMEE) performs Turkish, Arabic and Armenian music from the folk, classical and Sufi traditions. BMEE is open to students who read music and are at an intermediate to advanced level on their instrument -  most instruments are welcome -  or who wish to learn Middle Eastern percussion (the percussion section is limited, and is first come first serve). The BMEE has become a ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ institution whose end of the semester recitals are always well attended and well received by its loyal and supportive fan base.
