Partake in four days of exploring the trails of Baxter State Park, heading to different waterfalls and mountain tops, including Mt. Katahdin.
Spend your orientation trip exploring Baxter State Park, one of the most spectacular wild places in the state. These trip itineraries include day hikes up to the summit of Mt. Katahdin, a peak that is over 5000 feet tall. The ten mile round trip day-hike includes around 4000 feet of elevation gain to reach the summit. Participants on this trip should be excited about embarking on a challenging day hike, and also enjoying the other trails, waterways, and scenery that the park has to offer.
