Samantha Cogswell
Sam Collins Cogswell ’11 was initially connected to the McKeen Center as a student leader when she attended ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ College. She joined the staff as an Associate Director in August 2021 and has worked on a variety of programs during her time in the Center, including the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Public Service program, ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Volunteer Corps, and the Student Community Action Network. She greatly enjoys collaborating with student leaders and campus constituents with the goal of fostering reciprocal, long-term, and capacity building relationships with community partners.
Prior to working at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ College, Sam earned her Master’s degree in Development Practice at Emory University. She has had work experiences in the nonprofit and social change sector in Maine, Georgia, and internationally. Most recently, Sam worked in Utah at Salt Lake Community College in the Thayne Center for Service & Learning, their community engagement office on campus.
