Spring Dance Event Program

The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ College Department of Theater and Dance
presents our first ever

Community Show & Groove

  Saturday, May 4th
7:30pm
 Morrell Gym

We, the students of Dance, invite ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ and the wider community to experience the power of dance as we come together to cultivate collective joy in this semester's culminating performance and party event. Join us for an evening of dancing, performing, DJing, live drumming, witnessing, brave/supportive risk-taking, and togetherness. Dance is (for the) community and we want to celebrate that on the dance floor and in community with you (and, yes, we mean YOU!)

No dance experience necessary. Show up as you are.
gather . dance . witness . get down

Before we can proceed, we must acknowledge that ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ College is on historic Wabanaki land. We further offer our deep gratitude and respect to the Mi’kmaq, Maliseet, Passamaquoddy, Abenaki, and Penobscot Nations, as well as other Indigenous peoples of the past, present and future. We invite you to join us in honoring their continuing presence in their homeland and throughout the Wabanaki diaspora. Their dedicated stewardship of the Wabanaki land, air, and water, which continues to nourish and support us, is one of the reasons why we are able to dance and fully enjoy ourselves tonight.
