Masque and Gown
Masque and Gown are the oldest student-run theater company at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾. Their goal is to provide an educational and collaborative environment to produce theater which serves as a catalyst for social change. The group produces small productions throughout the year, as well as two main stage productions, entitled Shakespeare on the steps and ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾-Colby-Bates One Act Festival.
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Sketch Comedy
Provides an opportunity for students to write and perform comedy on ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾’s campus. The group aims to star in two productions each year. Additionally, they wish to address elements of ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ culture in their thought-provoking satire.
The Improvabilities
This is ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾’s oldest improvisational comedy troupe. Focusing on the short-form improv style, the group puts on several shows each semester in attempt to bring laughter to campus.
Office Hours Improv
An improv group that focuses on high quality long-form comedy. They focus on the teachings of the Upright Citizens Brigade. The group takes improv seriously and tries to come up with original and creative forms. They often rely on audience participation and explore what is naturally funny in our lives.
