ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Science Experience
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Science Experience (BSE) is operating under a new format for the 2024-2025 Academic Year.
For the 2024-2025 Academic year, first years in the BSE program will be offered opportunities to participate as BSE Research Lab Assistants and aid Professors and their Senior Lab Assistants in on-campus research across various academic fields in the STEM landscape. Your involvement in BSE promises to be both enriching and empowering. It’s an opportunity to explore various campus resources, build lasting connections with peers, and receive support tailored to your needs. Whether you are interested in lab research, mentorship, or simply connecting with a supportive community, BSE is here to help you succeed.
Program Overview
The ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Science Experience helps to develop the talents of students interested in science and mathematics. The major goal of BSE is to provide a head-start to science or math disciplines while exposing students to ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾’s range of academic resources, study strategies and course offerings.
BSE offers comprehensive experience over four years at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾, providing crucial support and resources to help you thrive academically and socially. BSE aims to empower you throughout college, from campus resources to mentorship opportunities. BSE students get together during the year to socialize and share opportunities. Furthermore, as participants in a THRIVE program, BSE students are also THRIVE students. All THRIVE first years are matched to a peer mentor who meets with them weekly. THRIVE students also can attend educational programs and community-building events and meet one-on-one with professional staff.
