Workday Student Go-live!
By Workday Project TeamWorkday Student is live! Today marks the launch of new Student Self-Service, Faculty Self-Service, and Academic Advising tools for use by ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Students, Faculty, and Staff. The new student system that we launch today is the culmination of over 20 months of planning, configuring, and testing by a dedicated team of project members. We are excited for the larger community to see and begin to use this system.
To support our ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ College Students, Faculty, and Staff through this change, Workday Student training is available through our Workday Support Website. This includes signing up for in-person or virtual training offerings, an open lab support schedule, job aids, short form videos, and more!
Although we're now live, we aren't done with our work! While the project team has worked hard to ensure that our Workday Student experience goes as smoothly as possible at launch, we recognize that this is a starting point. The team will continue to refine and expand our usage of Workday over time to ensure the best possible experience for our Students, Faculty, and Staff. We welcome your feedback and input on how we can continue to .
ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Students, Faculty, and Staff will continue to use Polaris and Banner through Summer 2025 only for tasks needed to close out the 2024-25 academic year. Workday will be ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾'s system of record starting with Fall 2025 and should be used starting today for any tasks related to future academic terms. Workday Student will continue to roll out in phases with different parts of our community as we approach key milestones (such as registration and student billing). Please reference this handy reference guide about when to use Polaris and when to use Workday if you have any questions.
The deployment of Workday Student will continue in phases throughout 2025:
- April 2025: Fall 2025 Registration occurs in Workday
- July 2025: Student Financials are available in Workday
- August 2025: Begin first full semester in Workday Student
- December 2025: Grading and graduation in Workday
