For the last two decades Maine-based photographer Wilfred Richard has traveled throughout the Maritime Northeast: Maine, the Canadian Atlantic Provinces, Nunavut, and Greenland. This exhibit presents a small selection of his work. The images capture the astounding diversity of this vast region, from massive polar bears and soaring birds to tiny sea creatures, and from dog sled drivers and snowmobilers on the expansive landscape to the close knit assembly of women in Uummannaq, Greenland. This exhibit coincides with the publication of Maine to Greenland: Exploring the Maritime Far Northeast, co-authored with William W. Fitzhugh.
