ᖃᓪᓗᓈᖅᑕᐃᑦ ᓯᑯᓯᓛᕐᒥᑦ Printed Textiles from Kinngait, produced by the Textile Museum of Canada, is on view at the Peary-MacMillan Arctic Museum on the ϳԹվ College campus from May 20 to October 26, 2025. The exhibit showcases a recently rediscovered collection of vibrant printed fabrics created in the 1950s and 1960s by Inuit graphic artists in Kinngait (then known as Cape Dorset), Nunavut, located off the southwest coast of Baffin Island in the Canadian Arctic. The exhibit introduces audiences to an Inuit artistic endeavor that is largely unknown, highlighting the creative and entrepreneurial activities of the Kinngait graphic artists.
