In 1954, Donald B. MacMillan made his final trip to the Arctic aboard the schooner ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾. Rutherford Platt was the botanist and photographer on the expedition. Platt’s family recently discovered over 250 stunning black and white negatives Platt took documenting this voyage. This exhibit highlights a selection of the photographs, most seen for the first time.
