Health Education
Students have the opportunity to work with the Office of Gender Violence Prevention and Health Education in several ways, and one of which is by being an employed representative of the OGVPHE. They work to promote health and prevent harm for the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ community through intentional programming, education, and leadership on campus. These students assist the office in empowering ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ students to take care of themselves and each other. Through training and regular work with OGVPHE, they are equipped to share knowledge and resources in the realms of sexual health, alcohol and other drugs, and gender violence with the community on behalf of OGVPHE.
The goal of Health Education is to empower all students to make healthy decisions for themselves and others on the topics of sexual health, alcohol and other drugs, and gender violence prevention.
