Login to  using your ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ username and password. Polaris can be accessed anywhere you have an Internet connection.

After logging into Polaris, you will be brought to the main Student portal, which is displayed as a tab in the top header section underneath the word “Polaris.”

The top left section of the Student Portal shows “My Personal Profile”. The Summary, Contact Info, Emergency Contacts, and Parent/Guardian tabs include various personal, address, and contact information. To update or correct address or contact information, please use the Enrollment Verification Form the first week of the semester or, later in the semester, submit an Address/Contact Change Form online.

Directly below the “My Personal Profile” section is “My Academic Profile” where a variety of academic information is displayed. “Class Standing” reflects a student’s progress toward graduation more accurately than Class Year. It is based on the number of semesters at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ and the credits earned. “Degree Requirements” shows which catalog year you matriculated, and thus, which requirements you must meet.

For your full academic record, click on the “Degree Progress” link at the bottom of this portlet. See the Degree Progress Guide for instructions. Links to the Registrar’s Enrollment Verification Rorm and the Transcript Request Form are also conveniently located in this portlet.

You can view your placement recommendations under the “Placements” tab of the “My Academic Profile” portlet.

You can find your SAT, AP, QR, IL and Plag scores in the “My Academic Profile” portlet in the “Test Scores” tab.

The Holds tab in the “My Academic Profile” portlet will display any holds that might have been placed. Contact the department that has placed the hold to resolve the issue and remove the hold.

A summary of your current courses can be found in the top right section of the page, in the “My Courses” portlet. The instructor names are links to email them directly from Polaris. The Grade Mode column shows whether you have taken the course for a standard letter grade or Credit/D/F. If you elected to take the course Credit/D/F, you will see "Elective Credit/D/F"; if the course is only offered as Credit/D/F, you will see "Credit/D/F Only." The division and distribution requirements that the course meets are noted on the column on the far right. Note that Thursday is denoted as “R” rather than “Th” in Polaris.

When you click on the “Final Exams” tab within the “My Courses” portlet, you will see when and where the final exam will be for your current semester’s courses.

View your grades from the most recent semester in the “My Grades” portlet. Next to the right column heading "Grade", the link will toggle between showing or hiding grades to protect your privacy in a public space. Click on the “Show” link on the upper right to display the grades for the most recent semester. Students requested this privacy option for increased security when using public machines. The Registrar's site has information about grade symbols.

The “My Status” portlet will display your enrollment status and academic standing. Click on "Show All" on the upper right to display your status. Like grades, this information can be hidden for privacy in public spaces. If you are studying abroad, this portlet will show the program in which you are enrolled.

View the “My Academic Contacts” portlet for current instructor, advisor and dean contact information. The “Instructors” tab displays the contact information of the faculty who are teaching your courses in the current semester. In the future, Polaris will have the option for faculty to include their office hours in this portlet.

The “Advisor(s)” tab in the “My Academic Contacts” portlet displays the name and contact information for your pre-major, major or minor advisor(s). If you would like to request a change of advisor, please contact the Dean of Students office for pre-major advisor change requests or your major/minor Department for major/minor advisor change requests.

Your student dean and his/her contact information can be found in the “My Academic Contacts” portlet in the “Student Dean” tab.

On the bottom left of the Student Portal are a list of links to relevant ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ websites for your convenience.

To log out, select the chevron to the right of your name in the header and choose “Sign Out.”
