About the Churchill Scholarship Program: Each year, the provides funding to 16 American students from participating schools (which includes ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾) for a year of master’s study in science, mathematics, and engineering at the University of Cambridge. Applicants must be a citizen of the U.S., either native born or naturalized, and be seniors or students who have graduated in the past 12 months. The Churchill Scholarship covers all university-related fees, a living allowance, a travel allowance, and the possibility of a special research grant.
About the session: ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ partnered with Amherst, Middlebury, and Williams to bring you a virtual info session on the Churchill Scholarship. The session features Executive Director of The Winston Churchill Foundation Michael Morse and three current/former Churchill Scholars:
- Zoe Dietrich ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Class of 2021 Earth Sciences
- Williams Class of 2015 Mathematics
- Amherst Class of 2019 Computer Science
After a brief overview of the program, the three former Churchill Scholars talk about their experiences, why they felt the Churchill Scholarship was the right fit for them, and how being a Churchill Scholar has shaped their trajectory.
