The $20.8 million renovation project and expansion of the historic McKim, Mead and White building opened to the public on October 14th with a ribbon cutting ceremony. 

New architectural elements include a new glass and bronze pavilion, a floating steel staircase, and a glass curtain wall that displays the Assyrian reliefs.
