Fertility Benefits
Cigna will no longer be using FamilyPath in 2025. The College has chosen to partner directly with Progyny to provide these healthcare benefits starting January 1, 2025.

The Progyny benefit includes comprehensive coverage leveraging the latest technologies and treatments, access to high-quality care through a premier network of fertility specialists, and personalized emotional support and guidance for every path to parenthood from dedicated Patient Care Advocates. With the change to Progyny, the College has decided to reset the fertility benefit as of 1/1/25. Resetting the benefit as of the first of the year allows all employees to start with the same amount of coverage.
The benefits include (after fulfilling plan deductibles and including applicable plan coinsurance):
- 3 Smart Cycles per family per lifetime for fertility treatment coverage
- Progyny Rx fertility medication coverage
- Fertility preservation coverage for egg and sperm freezing
- Donor tissue coverage for egg and sperm tissue purchase
