Faculty mentoring can be thought of as providing support in a spectrum of areas, from the most prominent ones of scholarly publishing, teaching and career advancement to other important aspects of our profession such as student advising and mentoring, departmental citizenship and leadership, navigation of workplace dynamics, and challenges specific to women or faculty of color.  Structures for faculty mentoring include peer mentoring, group mentoring, one-on-one mentoring, and developing a network of mentors.

A selection of articles and essays that the Working Group on Faculty Mentoring read are shared through this Canvas organization with content areas organized by topic. A summary of the results of the ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾ Questionnaire on Faculty Mentoring, along with presentations and resources shared at specific meetings or workshops are also included.

Three workshops are offered each year and attended by the members of tenure-track search committees. Materials are organized by the topic of each workshop:

Materials are provided to assist our visiting faculty with their job transition in preparation for the end of their appointment at ºÚÁϳԹÏÍø±¬ÍøÕ¾.
