Proposal Guidelines
Summer working groups take place between June 1 and August 15 and are normally for 1-3 days. We welcome applications from groups of faculty within a single department/program or across multiple departments/programs, as appropriate for the topic.
Proposals should be 1-2 pages long and should include the names of participants, number of days of activity (full days or half days) and proposed dates, and a brief description of the work to be undertaken and the anticipated results. Faculty participants are eligible for additional compensation of $200 per day, which will be issued promptly upon receipt of a brief (~1 page) written report on the working group’s efforts and outcomes, including a final list of participants. Working groups that meet for full days will also be provided with funds for lunch.
Please send reports to acadaffs@bowdoin.edu after the working group concludes and preferably no later than August 20.
